SUMMER CAMPS 2010
Key of Blue Music is teaming up with La Jolla Art Studio and Tap Fever Dance Studio, to bring you the most sensational summer camp experience available in Bird Rock (La Jolla)! CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Fun-damentals for ages 6-12 or 13-18:
Provides a foundation in the essentials of art, familiarity with basic techniques, styles, media, and subject matter, while fostering creativity and personal expression. Projects are ongoing and open ended, with teachers suggesting a broad theme and allowing the student more choice in the specific subject matter.

Toddler/Pre K Art or ages 2-5:
You’re never too young for art! Little ones will explore their
curiosity in a mixed age class where different ability levels can
learn from each other. Class for children and parents together,
not a drop off class. We will develop coordination while discovering color, shape, textures, and creativity. Projects will include finger painting, drawing, pasting, and more!

Painting:
This class will focus on the fundamentals of painting, with a focus on composition and color. We will cover the full painting process from start to finish. Our subject matter will include still life and landscapes. Students will have the option of using oils or acrylic paint. Both beginners and more experienced students are encouraged to sign up; the instructor will accommodate all skill levels. Materials included, except canvas.

Adult Art Basics:
For those who have a beginner to intermediate art background,
this course is designed to give you a basic creative vocabulary
and an understanding of how to break down various techniques. Painting and drawing will be the core of the class, with other
projects mixed in to keep it fresh.
