in Art and Art History from the University of Kentucky. She has

her art in a wide variety of media, including drawing, performance,

locally and nationally.
Stacie has had the privilege of teaching art to children and adults
for the last 13 years. She believes in providing a warm and open
classroom where foundations in the fundamentals of art are learned,
while fostering a sense of creativity and personal expression
in her students. The visual arts open doors that can empower a
student, helping them to develop confidence and individuality
by embracing both the intuitive and the rational.

Amber
Martin
Bio:
I grew up in the midwest and graduated from Ball State University
with a degree in Art Education in 2002. In 2003, I moved with my
musician husband to San Diego, where we both began looking for teaching
positions. I have taught art in several public schools since 2005
and am ready to try something a little different. I have an incredible
passion for art and for teaching, and have taught practically everything
to any age group. I know in my heart I am a teacher, and a Califorina
girl... I love surfing and yoga, walks with my husband and my dog,
music, and TEACHING ART! Check out my website www.ambermartin-art.com!
It takes a lot of courage to put your thoughts, feelings or values
onto a canvas. Young artists especially need some encouragement.
I love teaching art. It’s exciting and I thoroughly enjoy
it. I create a warm and nurturing environment for artists of all
ages. I truly believe that everyone has an artist inside of them.
That’s one of the beauties of art....beauty is in the eye
of the beholder, and there are many many, beholders. Inspiration
is all around us! |
